...I love teaching, and there's nothing better than chemistry (in my very biased opinion)! When taking the SAT math, I received a perfect score of 800. Since then I have worked with students in both sophomore and junior years to raise their grades on the SAT by about 200 points across the board. ...I often charge for tutoring sessions, though. My main objective as a tutor is to get students away from rote learning. I say that because I was once a rote learner, and being able to remember formulas mean nothing if you don't know how to use them. (read more)
