In a course titled Zoology, we learned about the evolution of all creatures and studied physiology and anatomy. Evan always had a knack for tests. He taught himself to take the SAT and SAT II subject tests in high school and four years later graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Yale University. After completing an MPH in Paris, he returned to New York City for medical school at Mount Sinai, where he honored all his clerkships and scored in the 99th percentile on the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2. ...I taught the subject to 8th graders, company presidents, middle managers, and college freshmen. My coaching reinforces what my client does well, but also offers alternatives for behaviors that do not help the speaker. Public speaking can be a means to another end: improving writing skills for students who struggle with writing but have strong oral communication. (read more)
