My method for teaching calculus is to relate the new ideas discussed in calculus to topics covered in previous classes. ...Although I never sought my teaching credential(s), I found during my tutoring job that I not only had a talent for it; but also enjoyed it thoroughly. I believe the part I like best is being able to put the lessons in terms the student can understand. It's one thing to explain something properly - another to explain it in a way which can be absorbed by the person being taught. (read more)
