...Another problem students face is teachers will expect students to measure angles in radians instead of degrees and many students find radians mysterious and scary. I teach the concept of the radian in 5-10 min and completely eliminate all the scariness. Taught wrong, pre-calculus is a tough course... taught right, it's not a bad course and it can even be an interesting experience. (read more)
