...My journey into becoming a tutor really started when I was in my first year of college in 2011. At the time, some friends from high school transitioned into becoming STEM majors; unfortunately, the mathematics they took ill-prepared them for college. I took the initiative to teach them myself. ...When we approach a new subject, first we take the time to understand the 'Why' behind it. It's really hard to just crunch numbers if you don't understand the purpose, so that's the first step. From there we move on to the 'How' where we learn how to actually do the problems. (read more)
...However, I also am very knowledgeable in math topics as well. Including but not limited to: Prealgebra, Algebra 1/2, Geometry, and Trigonometry. I also have plans to pursue a master’s degree in Educational Administration at Wilmington University in the Fall. (read more)
