...I also studied Latin and Greek in intensive programs at the University of Chicago, and in regular courses at Tulane University, during which we read parts and wholes of the classics. And I am writing my dissertation on Lucretius. I study and teach primarily political philosophy, which underscores all of political science, and I have used some contemporary political science in my classes. (read more)
...I started out as an regular elementary teacher, but I was helping the special ed students so much that I went back and got my master's in special ed. I have worked with infants through seniors to find out how they learn best. I like working with all ages and using different techniques to help a student do the best they can. (read more)
...This was such a rewarding experience for me, and pushed me to finish my teaching degree. I am employed as a Paraprofessional, which allows me to help the students in my classroom in one-on-one setting with reading and match, as well as students in small groups with all subjects.
