Teaching is my vocation, not just my job. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was about 5 years old, and I love that I get to do this full time! My favorite thing about teaching is getting to know a student, figure out where their fear or hesitation lies in an area of study, and then create a method or strategy that decreases that fear and instead brings a genuine interest in the material. I do not have data for all of my ACT students tutored to know whether they improved since not all of them shared their information with me or did not have "before" and "after" scores to compare.
