...I’ve taught subjects ranging from pre-algebra (and before that) up through bits of pre-calculus (matrices). I am currently co-teaching a class for math teachers to improve classroom instruction. Teaching math is awesome. Helping a student understand and master skills that they thought were too hard to conquer is pretty cool. (read more)
...About 6 years ago, I was able to go compete in a professional ballroom dancing competition held in Portland, Oregon. Though I entered as a beginning amateur, after performing 4 different dances, I left with first place ribbons. It was a great experience and memory which I treasure adding to my background.
