Before I get to my experience, I would like to discuss my theory of tutoring. My goal with tutoring is to get my tutoree (I made that up) to understand the material so that they can do the tasks themselves. I typically break down the tasks into mini steps so that the person I am helping can fill in any gaps they might have. (read more)
...Throughout the entirety of high school, I was involved in a non-profit organization that provided private tutoring for middle and high school students. I worked one-on-one with students aged 6-17, specifically in Math, Reading, and Science.
