...It takes longer for some students than others, but I always find a way to get through to students struggling with math. I've learned to be very patient when tutoring at the elementary level. I have a vast background in math and physics. I have taken what is often considered to be the hardest course in physics (quantum field theory) and I received an A in both semesters. For now, the only philosophy classes I will tutor are logic classes (possibly philosophy of science). I won an award (Robert Long Prize) for a philosophy of physics paper that was largely logic-based. (read more)
