This avoids student fatigue, as well as gives us the opportunity to review topics from the previous class to help create deeper understanding. ...I use tools for how to think about public speaking, tricks for practicing, and ways to motivate or build confidence. I previously worked at a science museum giving impromptu talks on the exhibits or 2-5 minute prepared presentation material, where I learned how to read an audience and tailor my speech to their interests. I've helped prepare speeches as short as 2 minutes to as long as 30. (read more)
...I have been sewing since I was 6 years old. My Nana and grandma taught me how to sew and quilt. When I grew up and had children I sewed clothes for them as well. (read more)
...My personal passions are sustainability and the environment, having studied Marine Biology as an undergraduate. In order to broaden my understanding of the world in which we live in, I minored in History durning my college years.
