...While studying for my degree I spent a year working at Granada Hills Charter High School teaching Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Statistics, and trigonometry and helping students who were struggling in the classroom get their grades up. I worked with kids ages 14-18 at the time and was also doing one on one private tutoring. The kids I was tutoring were between 6-18 in age. (read more)
...I often considered becoming a teacher during my time in academia but decided to go down the more industrial route of becoming an engineer. ...My work here earned me the Outstanding Tutor Award in Engineering, voted on by my tutorees. My passion for education has continued post-baccalaureate as an adjunct instructor in Electrical Engineering Technology at Penn State Behrend, my alma mater. Beginning in Spring 2024, I have taught courses in Signals and Systems, Electrical Machinery, and Control Systems. (read more)
