...When I tutor Algebra 1 students, I focus on how to study math and how to prepare for math tests. Algebra 2 is difficult for many students because this is the course that accelerates the pace in math. Lots of new concepts are thrown at a student and they must all be mastered without the extended time and practice that a student has seen on concepts in lower level courses. (read more)
