...One technique I use to make literature interesting is to provide the historical context of both the narrative and the author. I began studying US and world history in 2000 as a graduate student at Stanford University. After graduating with my Ph.D. in 2006, I have taught at several universities, most recently rising to the rank of Full Professor. (read more)
...I have tutored high school both online and in person, for basic level classes through AP and dual enrollment courses. When it comes to college courses, I have tutored most general elective courses as well as algebra, precalculus, calculus, biology, chemistry, and anatomy and physiology.
