...I got my master's in Mathematics, but took several more years of graduate classes. I studied linear algebra, took higher courses in algebra. I used applied linear algebra in my programming courses, and even included some of the material while teaching differential equations at the University of Tennessee. (read more)
I have been tutoring math for the last 13 years, working with a wide range of students from late elementary to early college levels. I am particularly skilled at finding creative ways to help explain concepts so that students can best connect with the material.
