...I started tutoring for extra income and liked it so much I never went back to full time teaching. One of my children has learning disabilities and individual attention and tutors were essential to his educational success. ...Since that experience I have returned to Latin America on multiple occasions (without any fellow English speakers--relying totally on Spanish) for a total of two additional months. Back in the US I watch television and listen to music in Spanish on a daily basis. I also keep in constant contact with my friends in Latin America to keep my skills sharp! (read more)
