I used the Danica McKeller math books to teach myself high school math, then used Math-U-See for Algebra 2 before getting an A in PreCalculus my senior year at Springs Charter School. ...I did not have enough credit hours to make it an official minor. However, I'd taken enough classes to qualify for written permission to take a graduate level class on controversies in modern anthropology. This course, which I enjoyed immensely, focused on the unavoidable bias each ethnographer brings to their subject and the field of anthropology has sought to counterbalance such biases. (read more)

I was a student with special needs. Learning did not come easy for me. I had to struggle to learn to read, I had to struggle to learn my times tables, I had to struggle to get A's and B's while getting my undergraduate degree. (read more)
...No two kids learn the same way! I work with both general and special education students to improve all areas of English and Language Arts: reading/writing/vocabulary and can offer a great support in proofreading and editing assignments. I have an excellent program for accelerating early readers, as well as building their vocabulary and sentence structure skills. (read more)
