...I find that most people will try to keep a lot of information in their head which leads them to making mistakes while solving math problems, for example. But, when they write down everything, they are able to rely on previous records of their work and check their work as they go! I am very patient and believe that learning can be fun for everyone! I've spent the last 13 years working in D.C. middle schools as a Math teacher, assistant principal, and principal. Now I oversee a district-level program for 6th graders, and I'm interested in tutoring on the side.
