...In high school, I received a 96 on my Alg 2 regents and even now, the concepts are relevant to my coursework in college because algebra is the foundation of advanced math. I'm a sophomore at Johns Hopkins with a major geared towards chemistry, chemical engineering. ...When I was in 8th grade, I noticed that my peers in algebra were having difficulties that I didn't have. Once in a while I'd stay after school and help people who asked for it, and this soon turned into a regular after-school tutoring program.
