I am a retired physician/ cardiologist. I have always been extremely good at mathematics and have the ability to convey mathematical concepts in a variety of different ways. ...I believe a good tutor should look for examples to help reinforce topics and try explaining the material different ways if a student is having trouble grasping a topic. I don't believe that good teaching is reciting facts over and over in only one format. I prefer to tutor in public libraries or local coffee shops. (read more)
