...I also graduated with a Bachelor's in Applied Mathematics. I believe having a degree in the content are you are teaching is really important to be able to go above and beyond teaching the what to do and why you do the steps you do. If students understand the why of mathematics they can then apply it to different situations outside of textbook problems. (read more)
