...I have gotten a lot of feedback from my students and their parents, that they like my teaching style. I am a proponent of teaching the ‘why’ as opposed to rote memorization. I connect topics to prior knowledge so students can see where they are at and apply that knowledge to other situations. (read more)
...I myself scored a 35 on the last training exam I took for skill refinement. I have worked hundreds of hours on the material with students to teach them the structure of the questions and the key grammar rules for testing success. I have been assisting students raise their ACT scores for several years, including the Math section. (read more)
...The tutoring sessions were one-on-one and have been conducted virtually the entirety of my teaching. I liked giving my student a comprehensible, short, and sweet lesson on the topic and leaving time right afterwards for questions. I'd go over an example problem and have them complete a set of practice problems. (read more)
