I have a B.S. in mathematics and Ph.D. in statistics. Before graduate school, I tutored for about two years, roughly 15-20 hours week for a tutoring service at my University, tutoring college algebra, trigonometry, Calculus I, II, and III, differential equations, statistics, probability, and related subjects. I have also done some tutoring on my own during summers.As part of my degree, I had to take quite a few math courses, all of which, when boiled down, are based on algebra.
