...This is mostly the manipulation of fractions. Prealgebra opens up a door for a bit of creativity in math, so there are a couple of ways that students can think about the problems. I have taught over 1,000 students in SAT prep, and a significant part of my job involved college admissions counseling. ...Due to my prior private tutoring experience, I came in with the skills that are needed to meet a student where they are and take them to where they need to be. I assisted students in both drop-in and one-on-one settings, conducting in-person and online sessions. ...I am currently assisting on a project involving land mammals by helping with data entry. I currently tutor others in environmental science and plan to earn a Ph.D. so I may become a professor in the subject.
