I received a BS in Math (2008), and MS in Applied Math and Statistics (2010), and a PhD in Higher Education Leadership (2019). I also hold a professional teach certificate in the state of Florida for grades 6-12 math. I started tutoring elementary and middle school students while working on my Bachelor’s degree. ...When teaching I try my best to emulate that energy and make math as enjoyable as possible. Through my experience, I have learned that each student is different in what they need. When I teach a new lesson, I usually start off with a lesson plan which I believe best fits the material, but sometimes depending on the student, I will sometimes change my approach in teaching that lesson.
