I have done quite well on several standardized tests, including the general and subject (chemistry) Praxis exams. I recommend students prepare for standardized tests by working through practice exams for relatively short periods of time several times a day. (read more)
...The second type of astronomy course is taught by a college's Department of Physics and Astronomy, and is treated as a branch of physics. My degree in Physics included a handful of upper division courses in astronomy and cosmology.
