...I was told teachers do not do a Pure Math Degree but a Degree in Math Education. However, with further dialogue, I was allowed to conditionally register for the Master's program in Pure Mathematics. Three semesters later I was a Bendel Medallist winner for my performance in the three advanced level classes after which I was fully matriculated. (read more)
...Regarding my teaching experiences, one of the strategies which help me in teaching mathematics is writing detailed section plans and giving them to the students to execute. The plan guides the students to learn examples, and do examples on their own. Also, making students aware of a void in their knowledge helps them to capitalize on their desire to learn more.
