...Calculators are great for some problems, like say 23.98342 x .00498, or for statistics. Most students today rely on calculators to do the most basic of tasks, which sadly has robbed them of being able to complete problems that they learned in elementary school. By forcing students to do most computations, their grades and their confidence will improve. (read more)
