...Calculators are great for some problems, like say 23.98342 x .00498, or for statistics. Most students today rely on calculators to do the most basic of tasks, which sadly has robbed them of being able to complete problems that they learned in elementary school. Making them as simple as possible and avoiding errors is what makes math tricky, but I have the skills and experience to explain it and help people stop being afraid of that 7-letter scary word - Algebra.
