...We usually work according to school schedules, on a yearly or semester basis. I am willing to help provide summer tutoring programs as well. I find tutoring particularly worthwhile because the tutor and the student share the same goal: to help deepen the student's understanding of the subject matter and of his/her particular learning style. ...I remember facts and find connections easily and relish the chance to teach history courses. Math and algebra are not my favorite subjects, but I am a quick study and can catch concepts well enough to assist other in the same. Oh, the places you'll go with language! I graduated in 2015 from UW-Eau Claire with a degree in German, Liberal Arts and certification to teach English as a foreign language (TEFL). During my undergrad, I spent a semester in Marburg, Germany, where I attended intensive German language courses. After coming home, I spent 2-3 hours a week tutoring beginning level German students and adults alike. (read more)
