...For the younger students, this included letter and sound recognition, basic phonics skills, and print awareness. For the students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade, I helped them learn how to read and write and begin to analyze text. By third to fifth grade, the students I taught were writing correctly formatted essays in response to literary text. (read more)
...I wrestled for 4 years on my high school varsity team and 2 years for the University of Texas at Austin and boxed at the national collegiate level for the University of Texas at Austin. I am a mechanical engineer pursuing my PhD. I use MATLAB and its associated programs such as Simulink on an almost daily basis. (read more)
