...We went over vocabulary within the reading assignment(s), and I had him write a few sentences to see what he had comprehended. I also wanted to know what he liked from each reading assignment. I found that having the student read short essays and answer questions helped tremendously and of course, going over vocabulary in which he had problems was beneficial. (read more)
