Whether it's acing those tests, pulling up your grade, or getting help with homework, I would love to help. Tutoring over the years, I've noticed students overuse "trick" test-taking strategies and rely heavily on simple memorization of formulae. In the long run, this does not work. (read more)
...I take a comprehensive approach---showing students not only how to work a problem but how to think through the problem. I show them how to interpret and translate the vocabulary of math so that they can first understand what the question is asking.
