When teaching reading, I use engaging texts to increase motivation and student-specific strategies to increase comprehension. ...The ability to reason through a scientific question to find the answer is always more helpful than simply knowing any individual answer. I like to build on what people already know when trying to teach them more. My strongest subject, Geology, is very visual, and I like to show students images, diagrams, and real examples to help them understand the concepts of various geological sciences. (read more)
