...As for linguistics, I had long been unusually capable in English grammar, assisting my father with his college papers while I was still middle school age. So, I fine-tuned my abilities with more advanced lessons in grammar and the history of the English language at UCF. In the end, it made for a wider learning experience, which is what I wanted. ...This experience has broadened my understanding and ability to create rapport with students I have taught the world over, including those in South Africa, the United Kingdom, and even the Middle East.
