Currently, I finished the calculus 1-3 sequence in college and my knowledge of algebra definitely applies because it's the basis of all math. Hector is a current medical student at UTSW. Prior to medical school, Hector conducted a research year at UCSF where he structurally characterized the interactions between a resistance protein and novel antibiotics to overcome resistance.
