...In the past I have gained a nickname from my students. They call me "the Grammar Hammer." While I've introduced myself as the Grammar Hammer, I've seen that it helps lighten the mood and anxiety of students and help them open up about problems they are having in writing. ...In my undergraduate studies I was able to adopt teaching techniques that will engage the learner in unique ways that will ensure an understanding of the content. Tutoring in reading is my favorite and I have a lot of experience in doing so!
