...This helps students understand that drawing can be tackled in a step by step manner taking away the anxiety of perfectionism. Art in any form is expressive and not a perfect photograph, that is for the camera. ...I visited Rome and toured many of the sights, not the least of which was the place where the Roman government met, toured the Vatican, and saw the sights first hand. I can't say Rome left the impression Greece did but maybe that's because I saw the tourist things and in Greece I made my own tour. I don't so much teach history as I do have a conversation about it.
