...I had lots of students who struggled in math at the alternative school and I feel I was able to help many of them! I taught reading at an alternative school and also took a speed reading class for myself which also helped in teaching reading to students! When I taught at a Job Corps Center my students were 16-24 years old and for many of them, English was their second language. (read more)
...During my time at Yale, I worked as a supervisor at the East Rock Record, a student-produced newspaper project by area children. I also traveled to Japan twice, the first time to study literature at Waseda University, and the second time to teach English and Civics under GPI US.
