...The relationship between the angles of a triangles and the sides of the triangle is explored as the sine of the angle, the cosine, and the tangent. The reciprocals of those relationships are learned as well as how those ratios look on a unit circle whose radius is one. The "laws" of the trigonometric relationships can be used to solve problems more simply that using other means. (read more)
...I began taking college Math courses as a Junior in High School and my senior year I was tutoring 4 of my college classmates on the weekends. My goal of any tutoring session is to find "lightbulb moments" throughout the class and always end with one.
