The summer after obtaining my degree, I biked from Providence, Rhode Island to Seattle, WA working on various Habitat for Humanity projects along the way. I returned to Providence and worked as a substitute teacher at a school for at-risk youth helping them catch up to their peers after being held back. (read more)
