...I brought in the manual my father had to learn and pass a test on in order to work with a local company cleaning carpets. I was able to demonstrate how my dad was able to comprehend and use the information he read to be able to have his job. Even if students weren't college bound, this showed them the significance outside of the classroom. (read more)
