...My process for tutoring writing is to determine what stage the writing is in--if the writing is started or if we need to brainstorm. I ask important questions such as "Who is the intended audience?" and "Is there a prompt or theme?"
After those things are determined, we can work on organization and order of thoughts. Grammar and spelling would be the finishing touches. (read more)
