...Reading is a complex skill, and the irregularities of English bring special challenges. I have a background in courses in linguistics so I can teach students how to recognize English words that come from different languages and don’t follow simple phonics rules. I have experience teaching students through high school how to expand their vocabulary by learning word roots. (read more)
