I went to the United States Air Force Academy and studied Civil Engineering for my undergrad. While there I took two years off for a religious trip and had the opportunity to live in Santiago, Chile, where I learned and became fluent in Spanish. ...I have been a public and private school music teacher for more than 25 years. My experiences both as a teacher, musician, director and parent give me multiple methods for teaching musical skills, concepts, and appreciation.
