It may not be obvious that a triangle cannot have lengths 17, 15, and 33, but it is when you consider 1, 3, and 10. (read more)
...When you go into upper level math the resources and help that you have available tends to be scarce. Most of what I learned I had to teach myself while I was taking these classes. It took having to sit with the book and read through the chapter until I understood everything I read. (read more)
