In working with students, I strive to help them understand and apply the material, not just memorize answers or just `get by'. It is only in this way that a student will retain the subject material and be ready to apply this knowledge to the next class or subject requiring the current class as a prerequisite. I have found over the years that mathematics can be very nonlinear to some students. (read more)
