I got a 5 (the highest possible score) on the AP Calculus BC test in 8th grade and I went to college at UC Berkeley to re-learn calculus and higher math while getting my Physics degree from there 2 years ago. ...Comprehending the recommended study materials and working lots of practice problems usually yields a passing score, if the exam is taken immediately after preparation. I also fill in "foundational knowledge gaps" so that the material can be understood. Depending on a student's background and the length of time without academics, GED preparation may take more time.
