...Even though I have been living in the US for years now, I still maintain Arabic as my first language, and the one spoken at home. I also constantly tutor young Arabic kids who are born in the US in order to get them to learn their parents’ first language. ...My style is to demonstrate then to offer the student an opportunity to try the new skill with "training wheels" while I offer immediate feedback on the process. This builds confidence and puts the student in an upward spiral of understanding and success. I am able to instruct for both calculator active and calculator inactive assessments. (read more)
