...I did this through high school, worked as a 1:1 for my younger son through eighth grade with additional tutoring after school, and then homeschooled him in high school. Both were able to complete math through Algebra 2 and Geometry and ended up with academic awards. My younger son did not take regents, but my older son got high 80’s and low 90’s on all but one Regents exam. (read more)

While I have always wanted to be an educator since I was a merit badge counselor at my Boy Scout camp. ...I originally went to college to be an elementary education teacher but quickly learned that I really loved teaching math and pursued a NYS math certification.
